halloween 2008

We had a great Halloween this year and the kids had a great time trick or treating with my mom, Kelly, and Me.
It stayed pretty warm and only sprinkled a little. We followed tradition and went through my old neighborhood. Sadie got really good at saying ribbit ribbit it was sooo cute!

Getting ready to go!
Mom was a Tree. What a great tree she made she was a good sport this year.

lagoon one last time for the season!

We had the most wonderful day at Frightmares with my Dad and our friend Boe's Family.

Riding the rides and going through the Haunted houses.

Sadie did so well in them was hardly scared at all

Here we are going on the Ladybug Bop ride. The kids LOVED it. It was the first time Sadie was tall enough to ride and Brayden was tall enough to ride by himself so it worked out wonderful. We rode a couple times in a row until I started getting sick.

Brayden loved going on the go carts with my dad they had so much fun in between the stops.

Sadie's favorite ride! We cannot ever go to lagoon with out riding the space ships.

Jeff's off again

Wow I can't believe that Jeff has been gone for 6 weeks already, Time is just flying past and he is so missed at home. Next week he takes off again for a fun filled drive from OK to VA. We all hope the drive will be easy and somewhat fun. Can't wait to see him in VA.

school days

Brayden started Preschool this week and is just loving it. He told me last night school is the funnest thing ever! Lets see how he feels about it when he has been going a while.
I cannot believe that my little boy is old enough to be going to school I'm just glad his birthday wasn't any earlier or he would be in kindergarden which just scares me. I guess they have to grow up.

Brayden & Sadie really liked watching the Olympics this evening. We watched all the way up to the part that they showed the athletes and then they were done. Brayden is excited to come home the next couple weeks and watch the games. This is what he says now but let's see what tomorrow brings. As we were watching the games this evening I couldn't help remember when Jeffrey and I were first married anf the Olympics were here. What a fun time we had sitting in Salt Lake City on Chairlift chairs watching the speed racing.

Buck has such a good sport sunday! As we cleaned up dinner the kids thought it would be fun to lay on him. They played like this for a long time and Buck just laid there we all had a great laugh and a great night together.

The boys bikes! I thought this was just priceless I thought it was so cute to see Brayden & Grandpa Armstrongs bikes together. One day just one day in the future maybe Brayden will have a motorcyle like Grandpa's

This week was a hard week for our little family. On Wednesday I took the day off and helped Jeffrey get ready to leave on his Military training. That evening we took the kids to lagoon for one last family outing for a really long time. Thursday we all got up and the tears started flying as we all said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. It was a really sad day for all of us. Jeffrey made it to Oklahoma safely and we have only had a few hiccups as of now. We have kept ourselves busy throughout the weekend and have tried to have a good time without missing Jeff to much. Here we have the kids giving there last kisses to dad before he leaves. WE LOVE YOU!
